Yesterday was an unforgettable day for me and my fellow dive buddies from the Divebase Malta diving club. We travelled from different countries across Europe to gather in Y-40 The Deep Joy, an incredible 42-meter-deep thermal water pool in Montegrotto Padua, Italy. The excitement was palpable as we geared up and made our way into the water. The temperature was just more than perfect and as we dove deeper, the serenity of the underwater world took over. Lots of bobbles going up and the 50-minute dive felt like just few minutes, filled with adventure and new experiences. As we reached the bottom it was already time to go shallower. At 10 meters we explored the caves. We even went upside down under the glass tunnel, which was a unique experience in itself. We sang in pockets of air and played with the spectators on the windows, making them smile and laugh. It was truly a magical moment.
